Swaledale Soapworks
Tabby Chen is a mother of four and the maker of Swaledale Soap Works. She has been making cold process soaps for 11 years.

Each bar is inspired by the beauty, heritage, and seasonal rhythms of the Yorkshire Dales - from the wildflowers of Muker Hay Meadow, a Coronation Meadow, to quiet moorland walks and the timeless dry stone walls. Her Dry Stone Wall Soap is painstakingly shaped by hand, and every creation tells the story of this special place.

Made with British tallow, coconut oil, and organic shea butter - no palm oil ever - her soaps are small-batch, slow-cured for gentle, luxurious care, and designed to connect you with the sights, scents, and spirit of the Dales. She strives to reduce her carbon footprint and packaging, caring for both people and the local ecology.

These are soaps that capture the stories, cycles, and spirit of the Dales - made with love and respect for creation.
