Welcome to our Visiting Artists page.   We have a variety of visiting artists to Fleece, who visit on a two month basis.   All the artists are still based within the Yorkshire Dales or just beyond.

1st June - 31st July    Peachy Perch Upholstery Designs

Peachy Perch is the creative work of Shirley Turnbull, a Yorkshire based upholsterer, lover of colour and champion of wool. She creates colourful, contemporary upholstered pieces and furnishings for the home.

 

Colour and shape sit at the heart of the design process ..! Working with a range of colourful Melton wool, known for its durability and rich depth of colour, and a collection of British Wool tweed in classic and contemporary weaves, Shirley creates designs that bring shape, texture and colour together that both compliment, and at times, contrast, resulting in pieces that feel distinctive and a little different to the everyday.

 

In addition to her ready-made collection, Shirley enjoys helping clients bring their own pieces to life, assisting them with colour, design and frame selection to create something that feels right for their home, before handcrafting each piece in a way that is personal to them.
